Amalfi, A New Coastal Italian-Style Restaurant and Bar Planned For Hampton Bays
A new restaurant called Amalfi Coastal Kitchen & Cocktails has announced it will be opening soon in Hampton Bays at 32 Lighthouse Road. The property was the former location of The Inn Spot, a waterfront hotel and restaurant with a scenic view of Shinnecock Bay almost at the foot of the Ponquogue Bridge.
An online listing for the property with Compass Hamptons Commercial Real Estate Team advertised the building as a 1,890-square-foot restaurant and bar with “gorgeous sunset from the interior dining room/bar, outdoor dining deck, and events lawn.”
A separate listing with the same realtor shows the property and inn available but it is not clear if this is also a lease or sale. It is listed as a .89-acre waterfront property with 140 feet of bulkhead and a 125-foot dock. There are nine bungalows, three suites, and a staff house on the property along with the restaurant.
Amalfi Coastal Kitchen & Cocktails says on its website that the restaurant will be “where the allure of the Italian seaside meets the charm of the Hamptons.”
“Our restaurant offers an unparalleled dining experience, blending the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean with the relaxed coastal ambiance of the Hamptons,” the description goes on to say.
Amalfi says it will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
No signage is up at the property yet.
We reached out to the owners of the restaurant and will update the story when more information becomes available.
