Bijou in Melville Rebrands as The Halston American Kitchen & Bar
The Halston American Kitchen & Bar is opening its doors on Thursday, August 15th. The Halston takes the place of the Bijou restaurant, both of which are Anthony Scotto Restaurants.
The 250 seat restaurant at 400 Broadhollow Road in Melville, offers an approachable, casual dining experience in an inviting and modern atmosphere. According to a statement from the owners, plans have been in the works for a while.
“We started working on the concept and vision for The Halston close to a year ago,” said Anthony Scotto, president and founder of Anthony Scotto Restaurants.
Halston’s culinary concept was crafted by the seasoned chefs, leadership, and management team at Anthony Scotto Restaurants, with direct oversight from Scotto himself. Their vision was to create a menu that is accessible and inviting for everyone. The food, available for take-out as well, showcases a diverse selection of palate-pleasing dishes.
With a refined American theme, the menu features a distinctive Anthony Scotto Restaurants twist on classic American entrées, including signature salads, handhelds, burgers, tacos, sushi, seafood, pasta, and more. The bar menu offers a range of signature cocktails, mocktails, premium spirits, and a carefully curated wine list to suit various price points. The Halston’s Sunday Soiree brunch will feature live music, a special menu, signature cocktails, Bloody Marys, mimosas, mocktails, and more.
The owners say the restaurant is perfect for both family gatherings and business events, with event spaces accommodating groups of 15 to 200, along with outdoor dining options.
