Bingo Wholesale AKA “The Kosher Costco” Opens in Five Towns
Bingo, a kosher grocery store that touts itself as a wholesale club without the membership fees for Kosher products has finally opened in the Five Towns. Their slogan: No tricks, no shticks.
Adding to its three locations, Bingo Wholesale announced they were coming to Long Island in 2022, its first location here. Already, the wholesaler has stores in Brooklyn, as well as Lakewood, NJ and Spring Valley, NY.
The grocery store is opening in a 62,000-sq-ft space in Inwood in the Burnside Commons shopping plaza at 603 Burnside Avenue. The location was formerly a Stop & Shop.
A report in the LI Herald says that the store was set to open on February 12th but calls to the store location have gone unanswered.
Bingo Wholesale is a subsidiary of Israeli supermarket chain Osher Ad.
While shoppers do not have to be members to take advantage of Bingo’s low prices, they encourage members to sign up to receive special discounts and coupons.
