East Meadow Welcomes New Drive Thru-Focused Chick-fil-A Restaurant

A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is ready to serve East Meadow at its newest location opening on Thursday, May 1, 2025, creating approximately 80 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Scott Buccellato to be the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Eisenhower Park.

Located at 1622 Hempstead Turnpike, the new restaurant will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 12 a.m., offering drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery and Mobile Thru. Designed for speed and efficiency, this drive thru-focused location offers added convenience to serve Guests through its drive-thru and a walk-up window for carry-out, while also serving students and eventgoers by remaining open until midnight.

Locally Owned and Operated
“Becoming a Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operator wasn’t always part of my plan, but now I couldn’t imagine doing anything else,” said Buccellato. “From the moment I encountered Chick-fil-A’s commitment to genuine hospitality, I felt called to be part of it. Our goal is to create a restaurant that not only serves meals efficiently and with a smile but also leaves a meaningful mark on the local community.”

  • Originally from New Jersey, Buccellato and his wife, Jeanne-Marie, relocated to Long Island 15 years ago.
  • After 20 years in the corporate world, he felt ready for a new challenge—one that allowed him to connect more personally with people and make a meaningful difference through service.
  • In 2018, he was selected to lead Chick-fil-A Westbury, a location he will continue to operate alongside Chick-fil-A Eisenhower Park.
  • Buccellato’s extended family plays an active role in both restaurants, with his wife, three children, and 13 nieces and nephews serving alongside him as Team Members.
