Welcome Valentine’s Day with historic cook Diane Schwindt and learn the history of hot chocolate and hot cocoa in this fun and interactive program. What’s the difference between chocolate and cocoa, anyway?
Join us on February 11 at 4:00 pm to find out! Warm up with a cup of hot cocoa, learn about historic techniques (and try a couple of them, too!), complete your own Victorian paper craft, and take home an ‘America’s First Valentine’ coloring page. Families with children of all ages and abilities are welcome; especially recommended for children ages 5 years and up. All materials will be provided. Click for more info.
