The Beacon (8 West Water Street, Sag Harbor, New York 11963  [631] 725-7088 or www.beaconsagharbor.com), Sag Harbor’s summertime mainstay, has announced they will open for their 27^th season on Wednesday, May 14. Dinner service will begin at 5:30 pm., reservations are recommended and can be made up to 10 days in advance. The menu will feature old school favorites, as well as delicious specials. Starters

Shrimp Tacos (2)

Salsa verde, pepper Jack cheese and tomato emulsion

Salmon Rillette

Capers, red onion, pickled jalapeño, grilled baguette

Crispy Portobello

Roasted peppers, smoked mozzarella, lemon-caper butter

Pork Belly Pretzel Buns (2)

Hoisin, pickle, creamy kohlrabi slaw and Sriracha
