First Ever Applebee’s To Go Location Opening on Commack Road in Deer Park on September 12th
The first-ever to-go and delivery-only Applebee’s To Go location is set to open at 403 Commack Road in Deer Park on September 12th, according to a statement released by the local restaurant franchise owners, Doherty Enterprises.
The company said this is the first location for this Applebee’s concept providing quick takeout for customers.
“Like a fast-casual restaurant, this location will include a few dine-in tables without table service in addition to the latest to-go technology, such as pickup lockers,” the statement said.
The to-go-only location was designed to maximize the speed of service for delivery through Applebees.com and partners such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, and GrubHub as well.
A grand opening celebration will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 11:30 am.
Guests can place an order and pay via Applebees.com or the Applebee’s mobile app for quick service at this location. After they select the To Go option at checkout, they will be given an estimated pick-up time. Once they arrive at the Applebee’s location on Commack Road during their pick-up time, they will be able to grab their order from one of the contactless pick-up lockers that will service both guests and delivery drivers.
“We’re committed to finding new ways to meet the needs of our guests so they can enjoy the meals they love from Applebee’s in a convenient and efficient way,” said Kurt Pahlitzsch, VP of Operations at Doherty Enterprises.
The company franchises 20 other Applebee’s locations on Long Island. In addition to Applebee’s, they own various Panera locations across Long Island, as well as Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas in Westbury.
Soon Applebee’s To Go in Deer Park will also offer various bar beverages including limited beer, wine, and liquor selections for guests 21 years of age and older.
They will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30am to Midnight and Friday through Saturday from 11:30am to 1am.
