Hampton Coffee Company Expands with New Café in Hampton Bays, Serving Up Local Flavor and Community Spirit
Hampton Coffee Company, known for its strong local roots and excellent brews, has opened its latest espresso bar and café in Hampton Bays. The new location, situated at 31 Shinnecock Road, marks the seventh store for the Southampton-based company across Long Island.
The café occupies the former site of The Hamlet eatery, which was once Pete’s Green Door, a beloved farmstand and breakfast spot. Hampton Coffee Company worked closely with former owner Pete Charos to breathe new life into the space, transforming it into a modern coffee hub while maintaining the area’s charm.
Jason Belkin, co-owner of Hampton Coffee Company, told Long Island Business News in an article that the company has been looking to open in Hampton Bays for many years.
The new café boasts a menu filled with hot, iced, and blended espresso drinks, freshly baked pastries, and a variety of breakfast and lunch options, including wraps, paninis, and egg sandwiches.
Since its founding in 1994, Hampton Coffee Company has grown into a beloved family-owned business with locations in Southampton, Water Mill, Westhampton Beach, Aquebogue, Montauk, Center Moriches, and now Hampton Bays.
