Iberico Tapas y Vino in St. James Closes Without Warning
The Spanish tapas restaurant Iberico Tapas y Vino that opened in 2021 has closed permanently. After stating that they would be on vacation this summer, Tapas y Vino has been closed down. Their webpage is down as is all of their former social media. A call placed to the restaurant’s former phone number is met with a disconnected message. No explanation was given or reason for the closure. There was also no messaging as to why.
The menu at Iberico Tapas y Vino included authentic Spanish tapas and cured meat and cheese boards. The restaurant in the small St. James Commons Shopping Center at 412 North Country Road boasted a quaint and authentic atmosphere.
No word on what might go into the space next or what the owners have planned. We will update this story as soon as more information becomes available.
