Long Island Restaurants With That One Great Can’t-Miss Dessert on the Menu

We kind of love our lists here at LongIslandRestaurants.com so we took a poll of our readers and asked them what sit-down restaurant has that one great dessert that you crave. Turns out a LOT of people have opinions on desserts.

There were plenty of votes for a local diner (or any diner), a few votes for IHOP sundaes and Friendly’s. We got hundreds of suggestions. We picked out a bunch that struck us as particularly outstanding.

This list is not exhaustive. And it’s not in any order. We probably forgot your favorite. If you get to the end of this list and we didn’t mention the dessert you love the most, let us know in the comments so everyone can try it out.
