McDonald’s Gives a Side of Nostalgia With Throwback Collectors Cups

Get ready, to go back in time! Starting August 13th, you can relive some of your favorite memories with McDonald’s new Collector’s Meal, featuring six brand-new collectible cups. These aren’t just any cups—they’re a tribute to some of McDonald’s most iconic collectibles from over the years.

Whether you missed out on the Hello Kitty Crew Keychain back in 2000 or you’ve been dreaming of the Cowpoke McNugget Buddy from 1988, these cups are your chance to grab a piece of McDonald’s history. Each of the six cups in the lineup highlights different beloved McDonald’s collectibles, from Barbie™ & Hot Wheels™ to Beanie Babies and even classic Coca-Cola designs.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Barbie™ & Hot Wheels™: A playful nod to the toys that sparked our imaginations.
  • Beanie Babies: Featuring fan-favorite characters like Golden Arches Bear from 2004.
  • Coca-Cola: A sleek, modern take on the timeless Coca-Cola designs we all know and love.
  • Hello Kitty & Peanuts: Perfect for those who cherish the joy of friendship and adventure.
  • Shrek, Jurassic Park & Minions: A nostalgic trip down memory lane with some of the biggest movie franchises.
  • McDonald’s Icons: From Grimace to Boo Buckets, this cup is all about the classics.

Each Collector’s Meal includes one of these cups and your choice of a Sausage McMuffin with Egg, Hash Brown, and Hot Coffee during breakfast hours or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or Big Mac with fries and a soft drink for the rest of the day.

And it doesn’t stop there! McDonald’s is going all out with special events to celebrate the launch. On August 17, head to Coney Island for a fun-filled day where your Collector’s Meal cup is your ticket to a free ride on the Phoenix Roller Coaster at Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park.

So, whether you’re a die-hard collector or just love the nostalgia, make sure to stop by your local McDonald’s starting August 13 to get your hands on these limited-edition cups. They’re available via the McDonald’s App, in-restaurant, and through the Drive-Thru at participating locations. Don’t miss out on adding a little piece of McDonald’s history to your collection!
