Melting Pot in Farmingdale Marks 17 Years with Major Renovation and New Bar Area
The Melting Pot, a popular fondue dining spot in Farmingdale, has unveiled a modernized look and an expanded bar area as part of its recently completed renovation. Located at 2377 Broadhollow Road, the restaurant celebrated 17 years in the Farmingdale community by implementing the Melting Pot Evolution, a national initiative aimed at enhancing the dining experience across all Melting Pot locations.
The Farmingdale Melting Pot has revamped its 6,000-square-foot space to seat up to 276 guests, with updates including new décor, fabrics, lighting, and artwork. The renovation also extends to the restaurant’s exterior, with new signage and an updated storefront. Inside, the bar area now features an open floor plan, booth seating, and additional bar stools, along with a dedicated cocktail station where bartenders prepare handcrafted cocktails.
“We’re thrilled to introduce these changes at our restaurant,” said Donald Sanusi, General Manager of Melting Pot Farmingdale. “It’s all about creating a space where our community and guests feel truly welcome. With a more open floor plan and inviting bar area, along with fresh design touches, we’re making the fondue dining experience even more enjoyable without losing the warm hospitality we’re known for.”
In celebration of the renovation, the restaurant launched a new “Down to Fondue Happy Hour,” which runs Monday through Friday from 4-7 p.m. Guests can enjoy half-off cheese and chocolate fondues, along with $9 handcrafted cocktails and specials on beer and wine.
Melting Pot CEO Bob Johnston expressed his support for the Farmingdale team’s updates. “We are excited to see general managers like Donald build an amazing dining experience within their community. Melting Pot has historically been a place to build special moment memories, and now, with our updated experience, it is for the frequent diner looking for an incredible, consistent perfect night out,” Johnston said.
