Nicky’s On The Bay Back in Bay Shore For One Last Season, Maybe
Nicky’s On The Bay, the popular spot with awesome waterfront views, was set to close for good last fall. They even had a goodbye party but plans change and the original owner is back for one more season, perhaps.
In October, owner Nick Parini said he had sold the eatery to another party, although plans on the part of the new ownership concerning the future of the Nicky’s on the Bay were not known. Newsday reported that the new leasee of the property was Joseph Vitrano, a co-owner of J & B Restaurant Group, which operates Tiki Joe’s at Captree Boat Basin.
What happened to that deal is unknown. What is known is that Parini is back in 2023.
A few days ago the restaurant announced on Facebook that they are now open 7 days a week from 11am to 10pm, rain or shine.
What happens at the end of this season is anyone’s guess.
