Owners Say French Restaurant Brasserie Persil in Oceanside to Close
The Oceanside restaurant, Brasserie Persil, known for its French cuisine has announced that it is closing its doors on September 14th. The announcement came via social media today.
“After sixteen years serving our community, I am writing with a heavy heart to announce the upcoming closure of Brasserie Persil,” the post read. “Saturday, September 14th, 2024, will mark our final day of service.”
No reason was given for its closure. The post went on to thank the community for its support over the years.
This decision was not made lightly, and it comes with many mixed emotions. Over the years, we have had the privilege of being part of your lives, celebrating milestones, and sharing in the joy of good food and great company. We are immensely grateful for the support and patronage you’ve shown us.
As we navigate these last few weeks, we kindly ask for your continued support. Your visits, kind words, and shared memories have ignited a passion for creating a warm and welcoming space for all. Please join in making these final weeks a celebration of the moments we’ve shared.

According to a listing online the property at 2825 Long Beach Road in Oceanside is a 3,600-square-foot, two-story building built in 1929. The listing says it has been taken off the market. As of yet, no plans have been announced for the restaurant space. We will follow up on this story as we get more information.
