Peter Pan Diner Reportedly Goes Up In Flames

ABC News is reporting that a two-alarm fire erupted at the Peter Pan Diner in Bay Shore early this morning. The blaze, which began just before 2 a.m., sent heavy flames and thick smoke billowing from the diner’s roof. The diner, established in 1955, was closed at the time, and the fire, believed to have originated in the kitchen, will likely keep the iconic eatery shuttered for months.

A number of people were on scene and took video and photos of the fire at the iconic diner.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.
