Press 195 Restaurant Opening New Location in Plainview
Press 195 the self proclaimed “Sandwich Kings” with locations in Bayside, Queens and on Long Island in Rockville Centre is opening a new spot in Plainview.
A social media post today announced the news asking followers, “Hear any good rumors lately?”
The restaurant owners said they are hard at work getting their new location in Plainview started up and encouraged fans to follow on social media while they “get’er going!”

The menu at Press 195 includes a number of handhelds including their burgers with beef, black bean, chicken or beyond burger options. Their Rancho Burgerosa includes bacon, ranch, avocado tomato, red onion and Monterey Jack cheese for $19 and the Smokers Delight is a burger with BBQ sauce, red onion, tomato, bacon and smoked gouda also for $19. Their famous hot pressed sandwiches come on a ciabatta and have a number of options including their turkey brie, roasted red peppers and roasted garlic spread for $14. There are a ton of options here with chicken, turkey, pork, steak and veggie. They also offer hot press heroes and fried chicken sandwiches.
The restaurant also has an extensive knish section on the menu with a number of options pressed between two knishes like pastrami ($14), steak ($14), brisket ($13) and veggie (12) among others. A New York Times article touted Press 195 for their knish presses.
They also offer a late night menu from 10pm-midnight from Thursday to Saturday. Press 195 has a catering service as well.
