Right Coast Taqueria Opens New Spot in Mineola, East Setauket Location Planned As Well
Right Coast Taqueria has officially opened their newest location in Mineola at 358 East Jericho Turnpike in the spot that used to be Bagelman.
The owners already have locations in Deer Park and Holbrook with another in Sayville coming soon (it was planned to open in the Spring).
They also have plans for an East Setauket location but no opening day has been announced there. The new location will be at 4088 Nesconset Highway in East Setauket, replacing the Strathmore Bagel shop in Suffolk Plaza, according to plans submitted to the Town of Brookhaven. The shopping center has seen changes over the years when the Waldbaums grocery store closed and Five Below took over half of the space it left. (An Amazon Fresh grocery store was also reportedly occupying the remaining empty space but plans seem to be on hold.)
Right Coast Taqueria has a menu of specialty tacos including their Birria Tacos, corn tortillas dipped in adobo sauce, stuffed with beef, cheese, onions, cilantro and served with a lime wedge and consommé for dipping. Or their Mongolian Tacos, made up from crispy beef in a sweet soy glaze, cabbage, green onions, and a chili sriracha aioli. They also have specialty burritos and nachos.
Right Coast Taqueria is getting great reviews online.
On Yelp, Ryan K gave them five stars.
“Been coming to this place for a few years and every time they seem to get better,” he said.
Wileen also gave them five stars on Google.
“This taco place is near the outlet mall and has one of the best birria tacos I’ve ever had,” she said.
