Riko’s Thin Crust Pizza Chain Comes to Merrick
Chain has two other locations on Long Island in Nassau County.
Riko’s Thin Crust Pizza has opened another location on Long Island. The chain pizzeria has locations in Connecticut, New York and Florida.
The pizza place is tucked in the Merrick Mall parking lot behind Amazing discount.
“Crafted with a proprietary baking process that delivers the ultimate thin-crust crunch, each of Riko’s pizzas use the highest-quality ingredients, including spicy homemade hot oil for its Hot Oil Pizza,” the company said in a statement announcing the opening.
They already have two locations on Long Island in Levittown and Mineola.
Breaking into the Long Island pizza market isn’t easy, especially for a franchise but for every great five local shops there’s a Dominos, Papa Johns or a Pizza Hut so it seems no matter what, we just can’t seem to get enough pizza. Riko’s is also known for its paper thin crust and the spicy oils on its slices.
On Google, Joshua gave them five stars.
“Riko’s is a fresh pizza and wings restaurant and bar, with a great location,” he said. “The Riko sauce is a must try for the wings, and the wings have a flavor and crunch to them. Great for watching some games and food with friends or family.”
Tara Isaacs agreed.
“Been going to the Levittown location since it opened and was delighted when Merrick opened as it’s closer to home, can never get enough of the hot oil pizza,” she wrote. “They have a great beer list as well.”
Hours will be 10:30am–10pm (Monday-Thursday), 10:30am–11pm (Friday), 11am–11pm (Saturday), 11am–10pm (Sunday).
