San Gennaro Feast at Lenny Bruno Farms Set For September 16 and 17

You don’t have to go all the way into New York City for the feasts of all feasts. The annual San Gennaro Feast at Lenny Bruno Farms in Manorville is set for September 16th and 17th.

The feast, which celebrates the life of San Gennaro of Naples, the Bishop of Benevento in Italy, who was martyred in 305 AD. Gennaro is also the patron saint of Naples and Little Italy, New York.

The two-day extravaganza at Lenny Bruno Farms will showcase Italian-American culture, farm-fresh cuisine, and community togetherness, offering a delightful array of activities, culinary delights, and cherished memories.

Festivities will take place on Saturday September 16th from 11 am to 7 pm and Sunday September 17th from 10 am to 6 pm at Lenny Bruno Farms located at 740 Wading River Road, Manorville, NY 11949. Admission is $10 per person (Children 2 and under are free).

Attendees will gain access to a vibrant vendor market and food trucks, where local vendors will showcase their culinary prowess using the freshest vegetables right from the farm. From traditional Italian classics to inventive foodie delights, there will be something to tantalize every taste bud with the essence of Italy.

Beyond the scrumptious delights, the festival admission includes jumbo garden games, beer and wine tastings from local breweries and wineries, a ride on pedal push tractors for the little ones, and heartwarming encounters with adorable farm animals. Families with toddlers can rejoice in a dedicated play area designed to keep the little ones entertained and happy throughout the day.

The Annual San Gennaro Feast is an occasion to celebrate the legacy of Lenny Bruno Farms, which has been a cherished part of the community since its establishment in the early 1930s by Italian immigrant Dominick Bruno. This beloved farm has a rich history that saw it transform into a successful business when Dominick’s son and second generation farmer, Lenny Bruno, took the reins in the 1950s.
