Starbucks Planned For Lake Ronkonkoma, Taking Over Chase Bank Building
A Starbucks with a drive-thru is being proposed for the abandoned Chase Bank building off Portion Road in the Lake Shore Shopping Center.
The plans call for a conversion of the bank building to a 2,940-square-foot Starbucks. The drive through will have a queue capacity for 12 cars, according to the plan.
Earlier this year, the developer went before the local civic and got their approval for the latest renderings of the project presented at a June 5th Brookhaven Town Planning Board meeting.

“The civic association was satisfied with the design and appearance of the building and believes it complies with the land use plan, and we anticipate a letter of support,” a letter to the Town read.
The letter came from the law office of Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP, which is representing the developer, Sunshine Lake Shore Associates LLC.
The proposal was listed on the agenda as up for discussion at the June 5th Brookhaven Town Planning Board meeting.
