Super Bowl LIX on Tap on Long Island
If the prospect of organizing a big game day meal on game day Sunday is unappealing, grab a stool, line up your favorite pint and watch the Super Bowl with a crowd who had the same idea.
Kickoff on FOX is penciled in for 6:30 p.m. but grab a seat early. Here are some spots across Long Island to catch the action.
The Bench – Right off of 25A in Stony Brook, The Bench is hosting a Super Bowl watch party, starting at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $25 for adults, $15 for children under 13 and will get you access to a buffet featuring game day favorites such as quesadillas, wings, mozzarella sticks, sliders, chili and more. Arooga’s – Offering both an in-house restaurant experience and catering, Arooga’s features over 100 TV’s, 40+ draft beers, award-winning wings and much more. Library Cafe – Occupying the former Farmingdale Public Library, the Library Cafe has everything you’ll need for Super Bowl Sunday. As part of their “Super Bowl Specials,” the Cafe is offering “The Kielce” and the “Hall of Fame.” The Library Cafe is the place to be if you like chicken wings, offering both full trays and half trays. Post Office Cafe – On Sunday, the Post Office Cafe in Babylon is hosting its big Super Bowl Party with $5 draft beers and cocktails ranging between $6 and $8. Miller’s Ale House – Miller’s is the place to be on Sunday as they offer all the game day staples. If you prefer to enjoy the game from home but don’t feel like cooking?
