ZUZU, Retro Look and Feel Pizza Parlour With Modern Rustic Event Space By Owners of Croxley’s Ale House, Opening in Farmingdale

The owners of Croxley’s Ale House are putting together something a little bit different for pizza lovers in Farmingdale. They announced their plans recently on Instagram with a post that said, “This is ZUZU……”

They described it as a fun wood fired pizza parlour with a 1970’s vibe.

“A family friendly restaurant serving hand crafted personal pies, classic Italian dishes, and fresh pastas sourcing the finest ingredients,” the post said.

They will have sit down dining and takeout with a second dining room for kids’ pizza parties and intimate events. They have also capitalized on a trend for smaller wedding spaces at The Garden at Croxley’s and are replicating that with a similar space at ZUZU they call Crossbarn.

“With the success of The Garden at Croxley’s we noticed a need for smaller, affordable weddings,” they said. “With that in mind we designed the second floor of ZUZU as a modern barn style event space… A festive atmosphere with authentic, rustic details including rough sawn pine timber trusses.”

Inspirational photos of the new space online show an open, very light, modern rustic vibe.

ZUZU’s walk up window will feature a new and exciting “twist” on soft serve ice cream and Italian ices.

“We look forward to hosting weddings, birthdays, showers and memorable events for the community for many years to come,” they said.

ZUZU is currently under construction but there is no opening date set as of yet. The pizzeria will be going into a renovated space on Main Street in Farmingdale next to Tre Scalini Italian Restaurant and two spots down from Croxley’s, which is on the corner of Main Street and Front Street.
